Comments on Cryogenic Suspension For Humans In Two Years
Heinlein's cold rest gets closer and closer - human trials soon. (Read
the complete story)
"wasnt there one where they cut off your head and preserve it so that you may live again?"
(dragon 7/18/2006 1:48:39 AM) |
"OK, who wants to be the first guy in the chill chest? "
(Gonzo 7/18/2006 6:45:09 PM) |
"i will wait for the progress in this stage, after, uhm, let me see,,, 10 years , i will try this,,, nice!"

"I have personally been doning some research for a book I am writng. I have come to realize
that the ancient Gnostic had developed a technique called the Rights of the Last Resurrection. Which is a form of supended animation developed some thousands of years ago. This techniqe was what was used before they changed to todays Baptismal partices. I use some of the same resources that Dan Brown used in his book the DeVinci Code. He truly missed where the true treasure lies not in a challis(cup). But the true treasure that everone is seeking is in our very own mind."

"Robert Heinlein is a fascist SOB. and furthermore stop writing stupid entries about something a SF writer put in a book "coming true." as if the writer somehow was predicting it or helped invent it. I wrote a story when I was a kid about east and west germany re-forming, does that make me a master of political science?"
(lamp 8/4/2006 7:14:33 AM) |
"'Robert Heinlein is a fascist SOB' is a statement that I can't agree with, although you're welcome to your opinion. You obviously haven't read very much of his work. You don't think that Heinlein writing about something called a waldo, then engineers creating it, and then giving it Heinlein's name for it, counts as 'predicting it' or 'helping to invent it?' And when he was the first person to describe a pocketphone or microwavable food or traffic control cameras you're saying that he didn't predict or invent something that is being used now? This site is full of instances in which sf authors first visualized specific technology that later came into being."
