| "From what I've read this cloak is not capable of keeping noise in (cone of silence) but rather bends noise around. Perhaps it is simply a matter of flipping a mathmatical switch to keep noise in, but a 5 foot thick concrete wall is probably cheaper and just as effective. Also nothing I've come across proclaims that these materials do anything extrordinary in blocking sound waves so wrapping your house in it would not stop you from waking up to the sound of your neighbor mowing the lawn at 7AM on a Saturday.
