Eye-Fi Equals SD Memory Card Plus Wi-Fi
The Eye-Fi camera memory card does an extra job in an amazingly small space; it not only provides memory as usual for your pictures, but uploads the snaps as you take them.

(Eye-Fi has both memory and connectivity)
Here's the cool thing about this little guy; you sync the card up to a hard drive or Wi-Fi network and then plug it into your digital camera as usual.
Then, tell everyone to say "cheese." As you take the pictures, they are uploaded to the destination you selected. The software for the card also works with a dozen or so net photo places like Facebook and Flickr. The software handles scaling and compression as well as privacy settings.
I like this device both because I can see myself actually using it and because it is an enabler for a science fictional technology mentioned earlier this week. See the Glasses Camera With Digital Video Recorder which comes close to implementing the True-Vu Goggles from David Brin's 1990 novel Earth.
