VeriChip Provides Emergency ID

A radio frequency identification (RFID) product called VeriChip is now being used in a controversial pilot program in Mexico to help identify missing children. For a look at how this kind of device might be used by banks, see Implanted Credit Card from The Diamond Age, created by Neal Stephenson in 1995.
