Japan's Double-Armed Rescue Vehicle
This double-armed rescue vehicle is heavy equipment being developed by Hitachi Construction Machinery in Japan. The Tokyo Fire Department, taking lessons from the earthquake in Iwate and Miyagi inland Sichuan China's massive earthquake, started the collaboration with Hitachi.

The right arm has a grasping claw and the left has a set of hydraulic cutter pliers.
This device may remind you of the powerloader used by Ripley in Aliens.
