CirculaFloor 'Stair Stepper' Smart Tile Video
The is a set of movable "smart tiles" that autonomously position themselves based on the scene in an accompanying virtual reality display. It's like walking across a stream on stepping stones.
Although I covered the CirculaFloor a long time ago (and saw it working at a NextFest conference), you might not be aware of it. The following video surfaced recently.
CirculaFloor stair stepper video)
The CirculaFloor display needs less than five square meters to convincingly present the user with an infinite space in which to walk. And now, the CirculaFloor user can walk uphill - or up steps - thanks to its new feature.
It's a poor man's holodeck.
