LongBox Plus Apple Tablet Equals Digital Comic Books?
If there is an Apple tablet computer, will it run the LongBox digital distribution platform for comic books? The nifty-looking (fake) graphic below should whet your appetite.

Gizmodo quotes Andy Inhatko on Sun Times as saying that it's likely:
I'm pretty sure that Apple is entering into a formal alliance with LongBox. When I asked [LongBox CEO Rantz] Hoseley about what kind of partnerships the company is forming, he spoke vaguely of what was taking up most of his time at the moment: a lengthy and complicated agreement with a seriously large company operating in the media space.
On the other hand, Apple may just allow LongBox to run an app on an Apple Tablet that allows the company to upload whatever comics it can license.
Either way, wouldn't it be fun to view your favorite comic on a device that would be a pretty good match for the battery-powered comic book from Philip K. Dick's 1965 novel The Zap Gun?
