Floemuc has posted his proof of concept on YouTube and used a hacked Kinect camera for multitouch-like interaction, with software on Ubuntu Linux and written using libfreenect by marcan42 and libTISCH by Floemuc.
Kinect for Xbox 360 enables gamers to control the action by simply using their bodies; a totally natural interface of gestures.
Science fiction fans see unmistakable similarities between this hacked Kinect and the wired glove interface from Steven Spielberg's 2002 movie Minority Report.
