Qrio Robot Golfer
A fourth-generation Qrio robot is shown below working on his handicap at a recent technology exhibition in Japan. Qrio is short for "Quest for cuRIOsity" and is sold by Sony.

In his 1954 short story The Midas Plague, sf great Frederik Pohl creates the idea of consumption robots, some of whom play golf (see original illustration below).
