Anti-Drone Hoodies And Burqas Counter Surveillance

New York artist Adam Harvey is trying to market his latest designs - hoodies and burquas that help conceal you from the prying eyes of passing drones. Americans will find this technology increasingly attractive as the drone surveillance devices find their way home from Iraq and Afghanistan (see Wasp Micro-UAV Used By Texas SWAT and L.A. Surveillance Drones Grounded By FAA).

(Anti-drone burqa)

Harvey’s garments include an anti-drone hoodie and scarf, which are designed to block the thermal imaging cameras used by many airborne drones. The designer also created a burqa which appears to function in much the same way.

This technology may remind readers of the thermoptic camouflage from the Ghost in the Shell series.
