LikeAGlove Smart Garment Knows Your Size

The LikeAGlove smart garment is a special item of apparel that contains conductive fibers that constantly measure your dimensions as you move around wearing it. The data is transmitted to your computer; once your true size has been determined, you can use the data to search for clothing that is actually your size.

We develop smart garments that measure your exact shape in seconds. No cameras, no measuring tape, it is all in the smart fabric we developed.

Just put the garment on, in the comfort of your home. And it will instantly measure your shape and send the data over Bluetooth to our app, running on your phone or a tablet. It is that easy!

The app then saves the measurements and creates a personal online LikeAGlove.co.il account. You can then use our search engine to find the right size for you of whatever item you are looking to purchase.

Although this isn't exactly a prediction, it's close. In his 1899 story When the Sleeper Wakes, H.G. Wells tried to imagine an automatic solution to this very problem:

...the tailor pulled out a number of slotted arms terminating in little discs, pulling them out until the discs were flat against the body of Graham, one at each shoulder blade, one at the elbows, one at the neck and so forth, so that at last there were, perhaps, two score of them upon his body and limbs...

The tailor set moving a mechanism that initiated a faint-sounding rhythmic movement of parts in the machine, and in another moment he was knocking up the levers and Graham was released.
