See LG OLED Wallpaper - Amazing Video
Take a look at the video of the amazing OLED display from LG Display; it's 55 inches on the diagonal, and only 0.97 mm thick.

The 55-inch wallpaper OLED panel, presented as one of the company's future displays at a media event, is only 0.97 mm thick, weighs 1.9 kg and can easily be stuck to a wall with a magnetic mat, or removed from it.The new product is far slimmer compared with LG Display's existing flagship 55-inch OLED panel that is 4.3 mm thick.
I read about this a long time ago, in Larry Niven's 1976 story A World Out of Time; he called it a poster tv:
She set up a screen: a television that unrolled like a poster. Another computer link, he guessed. She showed him pictures...
