After almost two years of tinkering and tweaking I finally achieved the result I was looking for.
No iPhones were harmed during the making of this video (I still use it everyday)
Regular Technovelgy readers can guess that I'd compare this cool DIY camera idea with an idea from sf author Karen Traviss in her 2004 novel City of Pearl.
He set his camera to follow him, and it hovered behind him like a large tame bee.
"Tight mid-shot and pull out on but behind me," he told it. He checked the shot on his handheld screen and moved a few meters to the right. That was better.
