Tesla Semi Truck Now At Work
The Tesla Semi heavy duty truck, which was unveiled last November, is already at work!

The just-announced Tesla Semi is now being used by Tesla itself, to haul battery packs from its Gigafactory in Nevada to its car production plant in Fremont, California.
In his 1956 story The Corkscrew of Space, sf legend Poul Anderson described self-driving trucks called electrotrucks:
As he watched, [the spacecraft] entered its cradle and was wheeled off toward the waiting electrotrucks. Unloading began immediately; the trucks gulped packages and scurried like beetles toward the warehouses.
