This doesn't really qualify as a Science Fiction in the News story, it's more personal, but I just wanted to share it. The tweet embedded below shows what Tesla cars equipped with FSD can actually "see" or encompass, and show to their drivers:

Now take a look at this example; note that the driver can pinch and turn the car's self-driving view, demonstrating that the car sees all around it:
To me, it looks uncannily like Paramahansa Yogananda's description of Cosmic Consciousness in his 1946 book Autobiography of a Yogi:
