Everybody Will Be Kung Fu Fighting In New Game
Don't wait for Raiden to return to Earthrealm to start kung fu fighting in another dimension. Kick Ass Kung Fu will let you translate your earthly combat style straight into a video game; you can use your own moves and your own weapons, from nunchaku (traditional style) to folding chair (WWF style).

(Your martial arts moves are mirrored by your onscreen character)
At present, the game takes place on a five meter cushioned surface suited to martial arts practice. Dual projection screens are used, one at each end of the playfield, to continue attacks. This helps totally immerse you in the game.
Computer vision technology is used to analyze your movements, and then translate them into the onscreen video game world. Without wires or post-production effects, you can defy gravity, shout for voice-activated Ki Energy special attack and attain exceptional speed.

(Use your own equipment as well as your own moves)
The game was developed at Helsinki University of Technology in Finland; 46 real experts from differenbt martial arts disciplines were used to test the software. Kick Ass Kung Fu will be offered to entrants at the 2006 Karate World Championships in Finland to compete for highest score.
