Shiva, the rideable mechanical lion, is the creation of the Kezanti Art Gallery in Brugge, Belgium.

This retro futuristic lion is the creation of a local metalworker; it sounds like it has a gas motor.
For coolness, if not usability, I'd have to give this mechanical lion the nod over DARPA's BigDog, mainly because it has a head.
