OMSignal has created clothing technology that uses sensors pressed against the skin to monitor your heart and breathing. Take a look at this short video to see it in action.

Heart rate
Taken from sensors directly against your skin, OMsignal is the most accurate measure of your heart beats per minute (bpm).
OMsignal measures your Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and renders the data to determine your stress level.
Breathing
The revolutionary way to measure your breathing. Sensors embedded in the OMsignal shirt detect your respiratory rate and breathing balance using your respiration rhythms.
SF fans are already used to the idea of underwear and clothing that monitors the physical characteristics of the wearer. In his 1988 novel Wetware, Rudy Rucker introduces the heartshirt:
Della's first present was an imipolex sweatshirt called a heartshirt…The heartshirt was an even dark blue, except for a few staticky red spots drifting about.
"It can feel your heartbeat … look." Sure enough there was a big red spot on the plastic shirt just over her heart..."
