Take a look at the design for the Starship test rocket - it takes me back.

Says Elon Musk:
“This is for suborbital VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) tests,” Musk explained. “Orbital version is taller, has thicker skins (won’t wrinkle) & a smoothly curving nose section.”
Compare to an earlier use of this dramatic form, this one from Destination Moon, a 1950 american space exploration film drama.
