Back In The Office? Relearn To Smile
This artificially intelligent system masquerades under the name Kokoro sensor for Recruit Staffing and it's just the thing to help you back into the swing of modern corporate life. Who better to train you smile than a computer?

(Kokoro sensor for Recruit Staffing)
Smile training has (1) practice mode and (2) scoring mode. In practice mode, you can show a third person how your facial expression looks and practice keeping a highly likable smile for 5 seconds. In the scoring mode, if you speak to the screen according to the video teaching material, the AI system will analyze the facial expression at that time and display advice.
"Affdex" (made by Affectiva, USA) is used for emotion recognition AI. Emotions are judged from the movement of facial muscles. Seven types of emotions, anger, contempt, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, and surprise, can be classified into 21 types of facial expressions. It is also possible to analyze favorability, antisensitivity, and richness of facial expressions. Recruit Staffing also adds indicators such as "smile, seriousness, apology, and goodwill."

In 2008, Hansen robotics created Androgenoid Jules is a humanoid robot, which mirrored the expressions of passersby. You could see your smile echoed by a hip combo of robotics/software/frubber.

Science fiction readers keep a wary eye on any computer systems that assess emotions, like HAL, for instance.
