AND The Kitchen Sync
The Kitchen Sync concept allows you to view recipes online and follow links to make the purchases necessary for your gastronomic pleasure. It's not a recipe book - it's a new kind of kitchen appliance.
Print outs? Not needed. Laptops in the kitchen? Impractical. Dead tree cookbooks? Sloppy, unsanitary and unreadable. The Kitchen Sync would have a small, flexible, washable screen with a dock, and would show just what is needed for that recipe for that day.

(Kitchen Sync concept)
The creator of the Kitchen Sync concept, Noah Balmer, received an International Housewares Association design award for his concept.

If you think this is great, just imagine the Runcible (TM) cookbook, tearing a page from Neal Stephenson's The Diamond Age:
...Runcible, whose pages were thicker and more densely packed with computational machinery, each sheet folded four times into a sixteen-page signature, thirty-two signatures brought together in a spine that, in addition to keeping the book from falling apart, functioned as an enormous switching system and database.

However, I say that for the ultimate in kitchen convenience, you'll want a robot in your kitchen; see the ARMAR Humanoid Robot For The Kitchen, watch the Robot Chef make octopus balls, and don't forget the ReadyBot Robot Ready To Clean Your Kitchen.
