Homing Butterflies  
  Butterflies modified to accompany a purchased bouquet.  

There is an outrageous bouquet of flowers on my desk, complete with miniature butterflies, the kind gen-modded to stay within a hand's length radius of the scent of the assigned homing flower and guaranteed to live for 72 hours, if you believe the advertising.

This would be handy for modern-day religious ceremonies as well. I seem to recall a passage in an ancient text regarding proper worship of the guru; the devotee should offer a "bouquet of flowers humming with bees" in the direction of their chosen deity.
