"We each live in a somewhat unique world of our own psychological content."
- Philip K. Dick

Whoopee Drive
  Spacecraft propulsion.

The room was brightly illuminated and its bulk-heads were painted stark white in contrast to the rest of the ship, which had been painted various colors and pattern according to the whims of former skippers. Toward the rear, two pits contained the lower halves of the main thrusters. Between them was slung the tapering cone of the whoopee drive.
