Flavor-Capsule  
  A small pill used to turn ordinary water into a flavored beverage.  

The young general set down his cup in its flaring sheath and it refilled. He dropped the offered flavor-capsule into it with a small splash.

The idea of using a flavored powder to turn water into different flavored beverages is an old idea. I'm not sure how long the idea of using premeasured capsules of flavor powder might be.
