| A fixed mode of transporting people outside; and, they get to sit down. |
There is just a brief reference in the novel, but I'm interested in solutions to the problem of how to transfer large numbers of people. I kind of like this better than slidewalks, because they offer a place to sit down.

I'd like to know, for example, just exactly how does this thing turn a corner? What happens if it rains? Okay, so the write was more interested in telling the story than in catering to my interests...
