![]() This is a very early use of the phrase (sometimes written without a space - skinsuit).
John Varley uses the word "skinsuit" (no space) in Millenium (1983), but it's not clear to me whether the character is referring to an actual device used as a disguise, or as a pathological reference to her own skin.
