Agony Box  
  A device for causing non-lethal, non-injuring pain by nerve induction.  

See pain box; the idea was first explored in the original 1965 novel, Dune.

It is mentioned briefly in Heretics of Dune.

The subtleties of Voice and those painful forms of interrogation that remained a Sisterhood monopoly - the agony box and nerve-node pressures - those were all she required.
